The beaches Kavourotrypes and Orange Beach are located near the settlement of Sarti, of the Municipality of Sithonia, of the Prefecture of Halkidiki. It is a complex of small beaches, interrupted by rocks, with a total length of 5 km.

The beaches have white sand, turquoise crystal clear waters, white rocks to lie on and pine trees that touch the sea. The waters are shallow and warm and you can dive from the rocks. The seabed is amazing and suitable for exploring with a mask. There is a nudist beach but you will also see many on the rocks, especially on the more isolated ones.

BEACH BAR "ORANGE" – "ORANGE" BEACH

The beaches Kavourotrypes are isolated, quiet, with a wonderful view of the peninsula of Athos. The only organized beach is the one located in Beach Bar «Portokali». They are about 7 km N. of Sarti (distance 20 minutes), 5.5 km from Armenisti beach and 23 km S. of the beach Vourvourou.

You will find Crab Holes by following the sign towards Beach Bar "Portokali", on the main road of Sithonia. For the other beaches there are no signs to direct you except for some dirt paths.

If you go from the rocks, you need to be careful as getting from one beach to the other is quite dangerous and you could slip. There are also paths but you need to be careful with the bushes and trees.

«Portokali» beach bar, cavourotrypes

The beach bar «Portokali» serves coffee, food, drinks and can also give you takeaway food, if you want to isolate yourself on the other beaches. It has umbrellas and sunbeds, music and from here you will enjoy the most beautiful sunset. At the top you will see the chapel of Agios Nikolaos, carved into the rocks.

The «Orange» Beach It gets crowded early, so you should arrive before 11 to find a seat. The parking lot is small and fills up quickly as it only holds a few cars.
