The city Mostar (Mostar) is 5or largest country of Bosnia - Herzegovina and Sarajevo is the capital around 70 km. It grows in river valley Neretva (Neretva), who is the one flowing down from old Most (old Bridge). There Ottoman rule (15th-16th c.) and Austria and Hungary (19th -20th c.). The name of the town comes from the Stari Most (old Bridge) and the word Mostari, which are the towers at the ends of the bridge. It was built by the Ottomans (1566) and construction lasted 9 years. - Old Orthodox Church (1834), the area Bjelusine. Worth seeing the wooden temple, images of which date back to 15The -18The century. and the image of the Virgin Mary.
- New Orthodox Church (1873), which is located in hill and is under reconstruction, as destroyed in the war.

ACTIVITIES
If you like diving, in Mostar operated diving center, Mostari Ikari Diving. The Old Bridge used for centuries (6th c.) as a base for diving the river Neretva. Mostar can be reached by bus or by train from the capital Sarajevo (Sarajevo). Also via Dubrovnik (Dubrovnik) Croatia, bus and day trip (3,5 hours). The only delay you may have is the Croatian border -Bosnia because control of your documents. the Sarajevo (Sarajevo) and Dubrovnik (Dubrovnik) have airport and flights from Athens made directly.
