Archaeological Museum of Veria,

You will see findings from the archeological sites of N.. Panagia Dovra, 5,5 km ΒΔ. of Veria

Historic monastery founded in 12^The c., burned 1822, and was re-established 1995 as a man, dedicated to Assumption of Mary. The old Katholikon with the typical wooden Macedonian roof is preserved (tel. 23310 27599, 6946 933493, https://www.imverias.gr).

Monastery of Panagia Soumela (1952), in the village of Kastania, 20 Km. of Veria

Carnival Carnival in Naoussa – custom “Boules»

In the Nymphaeum of Mieza, on the border with ancient Mieza, is the Aristotle School an outdoor area with lush vegetation and natural caves, in which the philosopher taught Aristotle. This is where he spent his childhood Alexander the Great, from 342 B.C., next to his teacher Aristotle.
