Beach Russian Dockyard, Daskalio, Resource

The Beach Russian dockyard, located west of Poros, in a small bay full of pine. it is sandy, organised, with sunbeds, umbrellas, beach bar and old buildings Russian dockyard (19^th).

Opposite the beach is the little island Daskalio or Eros (the shape of), with a small chapel dedicated to Assumption of Mary (15 August), known as Panagitsa.

In the chapel you can make wedding or baptism and then, if you want, to Organize a reception or a children's party in Russian Bay Beach Bar located in beach Russian dockyard. Poros is an island formed of two portions, small part of beads and great, the ancient Kalavria (good aura). The sphere is the main port, with cafes and the marina and the pine Kalavria, the beaches, the monastery of Zoodochos Pigi (1713) and the Temple of Poseidon. The two parts are connected together by a small bridge.

RESOURCE – ACCESS

Poros is the Saronic Gulf, Opposite Troizinias municipality Galata, the NE. Peloponnese.

From the port of Piraeus is 29 nm. and communication is done daily by ferry (duration 2,5 hours), hydrofoil (duration 1 time) or catamaran (duration 1 h 20 ').
From Athens is 178 km and you can go by road to Galata, with your own private car. or by bus. Galata parking lot where you can leave your car and go to Poros by taxi boat (During the 5 ').

If you want to get across with private car. there ferry from milk to Poros and conversely.

The port of Poros can accept for mooring over 300 yachts and has water and electricity supplies.

To reach the beach Russian dockyard will follow path west of the island, a road with asphalt. After passing the bridge, connecting the two parts of the island, you continue to Small and large Neorio wherein after Love Bay will reach Russian Dockyard.
