Teloglion Institute of Thessaloniki

Founded in November 1971 with donors Nestor and Aliki Telloglou bequeathed the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, AUTH. all their property together with about 3.500 artworks. Nestor and Aliki Telloglou, It was a wealthy family in Thessaloniki, with spiritual cultivation, art collectors, with great love for painting.

The Foundation Collection includes paintings, engravings, pottery, artwork and sculptures from Greece, Europe, Asia etc.. You will see works of great Greek artists, as Nikolaos Gyzi, «The Apotheosis of Glory», of Kantouni, the Roilos, Parthenis, vinegar etc..

From the most modern painters singles table Diamantopoulos, "The World of Cyprus", 17 m. length, Surrealist works Greek, Karavouzis, Karras, Lefakis, Paralis, Georgiadis, ceramics of Valsamaki, sculptures Sklavou.

It is Museum and Artspace Art and Culture Exhibition Hall, Library, Workshops Galleries, Amphitheater. The Foundation's goal is to introduce the audience to the art, the recording and study of our cultural heritage, cooperation with old and new, promotion of their work etc..

Teloglion LIBRARY FOUNDATION

The library is part of Teloglion Foundation and resulted from the donation of art critic Tonis Spiteris and wife of sculptor Joan Spiteris, who offered the Foundation Teloglion entire archive and library. In the Foundation's library belongs to a large number of books Alice Telloglou, the file and the library of George Mourelos, donated by John Mourelos, part of Marino Library Calligas, donation of Paul and Andrea Calligas, and books from donations Helen Lazaridou, Dimitrios Tsamis and Constantine Kalokyris. Total owns about 22.000 volumes and constantly enriched by donations.

"ART" Macedonian Art Company: 65 years collections.

The Teloglion Foundation in collaboration with the artistic company "ART"Organizes the exhibition" Art, Macedonian Art Company: 65 years collections ", which is a presentation of the visual collections of the Cultural Association of Thessaloniki,where to 1^or once exposed to the public.
You will see over 400 artworks, paintings and engravings of many artists, such as :
Spyros Vassiliou, John Kefallinos, Dimitris Galanis, Vaso Katraki, Tsarouchis, A. Tassos, Luke Venetula, Polycleitus regatta, Homer Georgiadis, Orestis Kanellis, Christos Lefaki, Chronis Botsoglou, Dimitri Mytaras, Bost, Pantelis Xagoraris, Nikos Sahinis, Yannis Spyropoulos, Joanna Spiteris, Panagiotis Tetsis, Alekos Fasianos, Gerasimos Steris, Opy Zouni, Paris Prekas, Kostas vegetables, fr, Mary Karagiannis, Ralli Kopsidis, Panos Papanakou, Lycurgus Kogevina, Constantine Xenakis.
Alongside the exhibition will be an original action entitled "I was there too…".

The Teloglion Foundation invites you to observe carefully the photos and note in particular releases the names of those who acknowledge. Whoever of you managed to identify most of the familiar faces, It will get as a gift the exhibition catalog.
