Ioannina dervishes, a coffee stop & food with a view of the mountains of Souli

Dervishes : the former Kefalochori today belongs to Patent. Lacquer Souliou, of Municipality of Dodoni, located 46 km Ν. of the city of Ioannina, near the border with Preveza.

For coffee or food, a stop at "Crossroads of Lakka" or Theophilus, as it is known in the area. Balcony with a view his mountains Souliou gathers people from all the surrounding villages. Post-Byzantine period, is a typical example of Epirus architecture, with gray slates, and his impressive frescoes 1764 inside. celebrated on 29 June with a traditional festival. The old Monastery of Messana (glebe of Romanou Monastery) no longer exists. A little further down is the Church of Agios Dimitrios, with also nice frescoes.
