• Athanasakio Archaeological Museum of Volos

Founded in 1909 Housed in a building donated by Alexius ATHANASAKIS, from Portaria. Located in Volos Beach, Anavros in park. OR 1^or archaeological collection of the Museum, which was the reason for its establishment, dating 1891. The most important exhibits come Mycenaean period to Late Antiquity. • MOUSIO OF THE CITY VOLOU

• MUSEUM - GALLERY CHRYSOULAS Zogia

• MUSEUM METAXOURGIAS Etmektzoglou

Metaxourgeio Etmektzoglou founded the refugee settlement of Nea Ionia Volos(1924) by brothers George and Athanasios Etmektzoglou, with the name "Sons A. Etmektzoglou. The Etmektzoglou brothers were from M. Asia, from Ortaköy of Bithynia, where the main occupation of the inhabitants was sericulture and the silk industry. • MUSEUM PLINTHOKERAMOPOIIAS

• MUSEUM THEOFILOU

Is a Folklore Museum which is housed in the house of Kitsos Makris. The building is owned by the 1989 University of Thessaly, based in Volos. The folklorist, apart from his own collection, it had 25 works of Theophilus Hadjimichael (1867-1934), many works of folk artist, Nicholas Christopoulos and 5 folk - religious painting murals, of Pagonidon. • MUSEUM OF FOLK ART AND HISTORY PELION - MAKRINITSA

• BACKGROUND AND LAOGRAFIKO MOUSIO PORTARIA
