Asteria Beach - Syros, for swimming in Ermoupolis
H beach Stars, is located in district «Vapors», in A. of Ermoupolis, its capital Syros.
It is essentially a landscaped area of cement with metal steps leading to the sea.. Many come for sunbathing but you can swim without fear in the crystal clear waters. Swimming overlooking the magnificent neoclassical houses of Ermoupolis, at "Vaporia" district, is a unique experience.
Even if you do not want to swim, you must come here to photograph its magnificent mansions. 19th century. which are built on the sea, as if sailing on water.

ACCESS TO ASTERIA BEACH
- On foot from the port and the coastal road Akti Ethn. Resistance to : El. Venizelos, C. Gennimatas, Miaouli Square, M. Mercury, Apollo Theater, Church Agios Nikolaos.
From imposing church of Agios Nikolaos, distinguished from afar by the blue dome and the two very tall bell towers and the café-restaurant «In Vaporia», start stairs leading to Stars.
- By car, from the port to Andrea Papandreou Street, Markou Vamvakaris, nat. Resistance, L.. Missing Cypriots, St. Demetrios, Babagiotou until hotel Electra Syros or from Police Department on Poseidonos Street , to Sky Beach Bar (Poseidon 10).
